GeoFeeds Daily Briefing — Sunday, March 15, 2026

Covering posts from 0800 ET March 14 to 0800 ET March 15. Sources: 136 geospatial feeds.

Quiet day across the feeds — here are the highlights.

The Saturday-to-Sunday window is reliably the lightest publishing slot in the ecosystem, and this week was no exception. Across 136 feeds, exactly one post landed in the window:

DracapellaMappery A photo of a geographic signpost at the Park Theatre's production of Dracapella, an a cappella retelling of the Dracula story. Mappery contributor Steven spotted the signpost mapping the play's geographic reach and filed it under "maps in the wild" — the blog's long-running category for cartographic sightings in unexpected places. Lightweight, but a reminder that maps show up everywhere. → mappery.org/dracapella/

Note: The preceding weekday window (March 12–14) was substantially busier — highlights included Project Geospatial's long-form essay on geospatial AI in military operations, the QGIS 4.0 Norrköping release, GoGeomatics on Canadian digital sovereignty, and the OGC's MUDDI underground infrastructure standard post. Those items fell outside this window but are worth catching in prior editions.
